# FAQ

Quick answers to the questions we get the most.

<details>

<summary>Is illenium-appearance included?</summary>

No. It's free and open source: download it from [its author](https://github.com/iLLeniumStudios/illenium-appearance). It stays the backend that applies and saves appearances, and Vision Clothing is the interface. Connecting them takes about 5 minutes: [illenium-appearance setup](/visionstore-docs/scripts/advanced-clothing/illenium-setup.md).

</details>

<details>

<summary>Will my players lose their saved skins and outfits?</summary>

No. Vision Clothing uses illenium's own tables, so existing skins and saved outfits are there from the first start, and players can still import illenium's old outfit codes.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Does it work with Qbox / QBCore / ESX / ox_core / standalone?</summary>

Yes. Qbox, QBCore, ESX and ox\_core are detected automatically. Standalone works too, but has no money system: make your shops free or connect your economy in the [Framework bridge](/visionstore-docs/scripts/advanced-clothing/developers/framework-bridge.md).

</details>

<details>

<summary>Do I need to edit my multicharacter script?</summary>

No. With the illenium guard lines in place, character creation reaches Vision Clothing on every framework, and your multicharacter continues its spawn when the player saves.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Do I need ox_target?</summary>

No. ox\_target or qb-target are used when present; otherwise ox\_lib zones with an `[E]` prompt are used. Only outfit bags need ox\_target (and ox\_inventory).

</details>

<details>

<summary>Does it support add-on clothing (EUP and others)?</summary>

Yes. Every category lists whatever the game reports, add-on packs included. The shipped thumbnails cover base-game and DLC clothing; add-on items show a placeholder until you add images ([Add-on thumbnails](/visionstore-docs/scripts/advanced-clothing/guides/addon-thumbnails.md)).

</details>

<details>

<summary>Can players cheat prices?</summary>

No. The server recalculates every price at checkout and checks access, sections, locks and distance. Like illenium itself, the appearance is applied on the client and saved through illenium's save event.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Can I change prices, add shops or lock items to a job?</summary>

Yes, all in the open config files: [Prices and payment](/visionstore-docs/scripts/advanced-clothing/configuration/prices-and-payment.md), [Shops and locations](/visionstore-docs/scripts/advanced-clothing/configuration/shops-and-locations.md) and [Wardrobes, uniforms and locks](/visionstore-docs/scripts/advanced-clothing/configuration/wardrobes-and-uniforms.md).

</details>

<details>

<summary>Can I use my illenium job uniforms?</summary>

Yes. Paste them from illenium's `Config.Outfits` into `Config.JobOutfits`; the illenium format is accepted as is. Outfits created by bosses in illenium appear in the locker too.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Can I change the colours or translate it?</summary>

Yes. Three colours in `html/css/variables.css` retheme the whole interface ([General](/visionstore-docs/scripts/advanced-clothing/configuration/general.md#theme)). English and Arabic are included, and adding a language means copying one file ([Languages](/visionstore-docs/scripts/advanced-clothing/configuration.md#languages)).

</details>

<details>

<summary>Can my developer open the menus from other scripts?</summary>

Yes: [Exports](/visionstore-docs/scripts/advanced-clothing/developers/exports.md), [Events](/visionstore-docs/scripts/advanced-clothing/developers/events.md) and [Integration examples](/visionstore-docs/scripts/advanced-clothing/developers/integration-examples.md). No access to the protected core is needed.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Can I rename the resource folder?</summary>

We recommend keeping `Chapo_advanced_clothing`. If you rename it, update the illenium guard lines, the outfit bag item exports and any `exports.Chapo_advanced_clothing` calls in your own scripts.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://visionstore.gitbook.io/visionstore-docs/scripts/advanced-clothing/faq.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
