# Quick start

From install to your first purchase, haircut and shared outfit in five minutes.

This walkthrough tests every part of the script with the default config. It assumes you finished the [Installation](/visionstore-docs/scripts/advanced-clothing/installation.md) and the [illenium-appearance setup](/visionstore-docs/scripts/advanced-clothing/illenium-setup.md).

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

### Buy something

Walk into **Binco Strawberry** (`425.91, -801.03`). You get an `[E] BINCO` prompt (zones) or an **Open Clothing Store** target option.

1. Open **CLOTHING → TOPS** and click a few tops. They appear on your ped right away.
2. Drag the mouse to rotate, use the wheel to zoom.
3. Press **TAB** to confirm. The TOTAL COST strip shows the price plus tax.

Open the store again and press **ESC** without buying: your original clothes come back.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Get a haircut

Visit the **barber in Rockford** (`-814.22, -183.7`). You see one HAIR section, priced per change: $50 for a haircut, $25 for facial hair or eyebrows. Pick a style and a colour, then press **TAB**.

Then try the **tattoo parlour in Vinewood** (`1322.6, -1651.9`) and the **plastic surgeon at Pillbox Hill** (`298.78, -572.81`).
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Save and share an outfit

In any clothing store, open **OUTFITS** at the store root.

1. Press **SAVE CURRENT OUTFIT**, give it a name and optional tags.
2. Select it and press **SHARE**. You get a code like `K7-3PQX-M2ZD`.
3. On another character, open **OUTFITS → IMPORT**, type the code, **PREVIEW** it and **IMPORT** it.
   {% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Create a character

Create a new character with your multicharacter. Vision Clothing's character creator opens with all six sections. Press **SAVE CHARACTER** and the spawn continues as usual.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Switch the language

Type **`/appearancelang ar`** and reopen a store: the interface switches to Arabic, right to left. `/appearancelang en` switches back.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

{% hint style="success" %}
**Tip:** as an admin, **`/clothingshop`** opens a free menu with every section and category. Perfect for testing looks without paying. Add a player id to open it on someone else: `/clothingshop 12`.
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://visionstore.gitbook.io/visionstore-docs/scripts/advanced-clothing/quick-start.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
