# Gloves, outfit and feel

The gloves item, the fight outfit, effects, sound, animations and keys.

## Gloves

```lua
Config.Gloves = {
    Item = 'boxing_gloves',          -- inventory item (false = gloves only inside fights)
    Model = 'prop_boxing_glove_01',
    Left  = { bone = 61007, pos = vec3(0.05, 0.00, 0.04),  rot = vec3(0.0, 90.0, -90.0) },
    Right = { bone = 43810, pos = vec3(0.05, 0.00, -0.04), rot = vec3(0.0, 90.0, 90.0) },
    BlockWeapons = true,             -- no weapons while wearing gloves
    RenderDistance = 80.0,
}
```

* Players **use the item** to lace the gloves up or take them off. Everyone nearby sees them.
* Losing the item (drop, give, sell) takes the gloves off (ox\_inventory).
* Inside a fight, the ring's rules decide: gloves on, off, or the fighters' choice.

## Fight outfit

Fighters box **shirtless**. Their exact clothes come back when they leave the ring, and nothing is saved to your appearance / clothing database. This only applies to freemode peds.

```lua
Config.Outfit = {
    Enabled = true,
    Male = {
        components = {
            [11] = { 15, 0 },  -- top: bare torso
            [8]  = { 15, 0 },  -- undershirt: none
            [3]  = { 15, 0 },  -- arms
            -- ... armour, decals, bag, chains, mask
        },
        props = { 0, 1, 2, 6, 7 },  -- removed: hat, glasses, ears, watch, bracelet
    },
    Female = { ... },
}
```

Want boxing shorts? Add `[4] = { drawable, texture }` (legs) with your server's clothing ids.

## Feel

```lua
Config.Feel = {
    Sweat = true,            -- fighters get sweatier every round
    Face = 'mood_angry_1',   -- facial expression while fighting (false = off)
    Blood = true,            -- bare-knuckle power punches draw blood
}
```

## Sound

All sound is **generated live in the UI**: bell, punches, crowd, countdown, heartbeat at low HP, K.O. boom and victory stings. There are no audio files to stream. Spectators hear it quieter the further away they are.

```lua
Config.Audio = {
    Volume = 0.75,  -- master volume
    Crowd = 0.5,    -- crowd reactions
}
```

## Animations

```lua
Config.Anims = {
    WarmupMale   = { dict = 'anim@mp_player_intcelebrationmale@shadow_boxing',   clip = 'shadow_boxing' },
    WarmupFemale = { dict = 'anim@mp_player_intcelebrationfemale@shadow_boxing', clip = 'shadow_boxing' },
    Celebrate    = { dict = 'rcmfanatic1celebrate', clip = 'celebrate' },
    Stretch      = { dict = 'mini@triathlon',       clip = 'idle_e' },
}
```

Any base-game or streamed animation works.

## Keys

```lua
Config.Keys = {
    Towel = 'BACK',      -- hold to throw in the towel (a FiveM key binding)
    TowelHold = 1500,    -- ms to hold
}
-- The controls legend shown to fighters
Config.ControlsHelp = {
    { key = 'R',     label = 'controls.light' },
    { key = 'LMB',   label = 'controls.heavy' },
    { key = 'RMB',   label = 'controls.lock' },
    { key = 'SPACE', label = 'controls.dodge' },
}
```

{% hint style="info" %}
The towel and knockout keys are FiveM key bindings: each player can rebind them in **Settings → Key Bindings → FiveM**.
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://visionstore.gitbook.io/visionstore-docs/scripts/boxing-creator/configuration/gloves-outfit-feel.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
