# FAQ

Quick answers to the questions we get the most.

<details>

<summary>Does it work with ESX / QBCore / standalone?</summary>

Yes. Qbox, QBCore and ESX are detected automatically. Standalone works too; connect your own economy for bets and purses, or turn them off.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Do I need a MLO or a gym map?</summary>

No. The script includes its own 3D boxing ring that you can place anywhere. You can also use rings from any map: capture the points by walking to them.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Is it secure? Can cheaters give themselves money?</summary>

Every hit, result and payout is decided on the server. Clients only send requests ("I want to join", "I tapped A/D"), which the server checks (distance, permissions, rate limits). Money is only moved by the server.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Does it need an animation pack?</summary>

No. Fights use GTA's own melee and base-game animations.

</details>

<details>

<summary>How many rings can I have? Can fights run at the same time?</summary>

As many as you want, and every ring runs its own fight at the same time.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Will it save my players' clothes to the database?</summary>

No. The shirtless outfit is applied locally and the exact original clothes come back after the fight. Nothing is written to your clothing / appearance tables.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Can I change the texts or translate it?</summary>

Yes. Every text is in `locales/*.json`. English and Arabic are included. See [Languages](/visionstore-docs/scripts/boxing-creator/configuration.md#languages).

</details>

<details>

<summary>Can I change the colours to match my server?</summary>

Yes, in seconds: [Theme colours](/visionstore-docs/scripts/boxing-creator/configuration/theme.md).

</details>

<details>

<summary>Can my developer add features?</summary>

Yes. Use the hooks, events and exports: [Developer overview](/visionstore-docs/scripts/boxing-creator/developers.md). No access to the protected core is needed.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Can I rename the resource folder?</summary>

We recommend keeping `Chapo_BoxingCreator`. If you rename it, update the gloves item's export name and any `exports['Chapo_BoxingCreator']` calls in your own scripts.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://visionstore.gitbook.io/visionstore-docs/scripts/boxing-creator/faq.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
